On Tuesday, the 17th of June the ICRA project Steering Committee accepted the completion report of the first phase of the project. Simultaneously, the plan of the second phase was approved and permission to start was given. The aim of the second phase is to bring the respective project products at least to the 6th Technology Readiness Level (TRL). Currently, products created as part of the first phase are at least on the 4th TRL, although some of them have been at the 9th TRL already. The first phase was completed successfully by the deadlines set and tolerance adopted. Eight scientific papers on the project issues have been produced as a result of its implementation. Project results to date have also been recognised in the international arena by leading research centres. The second phase is an even greater challenge to the whole Project Management Team and the respective members of implementation teams. This phase is to result in products operational in laboratory environment.
